Se-methylselenocysteine (SeMC) is a little known form of the trace mineral selenium that is found in broccoli, onions, garlic and other vegetables that have been specifically grown in extremely selenium-rich soil. Selenium is an essential mineral found in trace amounts in the human body. It works as an antioxidant, especially when it is combined with vitamin E. Many of the potential benefits of selenium are related to its role in the production of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase - responsible for detoxification in the body.

Do not exceed these limits from diet and supplements combined.
